High Color
With the color modes of the monitors, the color depth is determined by the number of color nuances that can be displayed.
In terms of color depth, a distinction is made between direct color display, true color display, and deep color, color display with the highest color depth.
With High Color, color depth s of 32,768 and 65,536 color shades can be displayed. This color resolution is sufficient for realistic representations and simple computer graphics and corresponds to color resolutions of 15 bits and 16 bits. The next higher color mode with 18 and 21 bits is Direct Color.
