G band

The G-band is listed as a frequency band in the NATO designation. It lies between F-band and H-band and covers the frequency range between 4 GHz

and 6 GHz. There is no G-band in the traditional German designation. The frequency range from 4 GHz to 6 GHz is covered by the C-band

inthis nomenclature.

In addition, the frequency range between 140 GHz and 220 GHz is also referred to as G-band in the literature. The International Telecommunication Union (ITU) does not include a G-band in its nomenclature.
