Fiber optic subscriber line

The fiber optic subscriber line(GF- TA) forms the transition from the riser area to the optical network termination( ONT) and the residential network.

Depending on the size of the building and the number of floors, the fiber optic subscriber line is connected directly to the fiber optic building distributor(GF-GV), as in the case of apartment buildings, or to the fiber optic floor distributor or the fiber optic collection point (GF- SP). A fiber optic patch cable runs from the fiber optic subscriber line to the optical network termination (ONT), where the optical signal is converted into an electrical signal and then fed to the home gateway.
