European communication satellite (ECS)

European CommunicationSatellite (ECS) is a satellite system for data communication and telecommunications implemented by the European Space Agency ( ESA) and operated by Eutelsat. Among other things, the ECS system carries telecommunications traffic in the range up to 800 km. In addition, the ECS system has various television transmission channels for Eurovision broadcasts. In addition, television channels from European Communication Satellite are fed into the cable distribution networks.
