Ethernet over VDSL (EoVDSL)

Ethernet over VDSL (EoVDSL) is one of the access techniques under discussion for Ethernet in the First Mile ( EFM). With this technology, the Ethernet frames are packaged into VDSL frames. This high-speed technology supports transmission rates of up to 52 Mbit/s in the downstream and 2.3 Mbit/s in the upstream.
