Earth-SAR-X

Terra-SAR-X is a German satellite for Earth observation. It was launched into orbit in 2007 and is used for research into mineral resources and the climate. SAR data are transmitted in the X-band at 9.65 GHz.

Depending on the mode of operation, the geometric resolution is between 1 m and 16 m.
