Django

Django is a well-known web framework in connection with the Pythonprogramming language. It is a relatively small and fast (especially with the additional module Psyco) web framework.

In contrast to the web framework TuboGears, it is not an amalgamation of already existing products, but was developed from scratch. Django offers all the features expected from web frameworks, plus special additional features such as a URL rewrite engine for understandable URLs, special security features and many extension modules (including comment system and feed generator).
