The DVD type DVD-1 is the simplest version of an 8 cm mini DVD, which has a storage layer (single sided/single layer) on one side. The storage capacity is 1.4 GB. If there are storage layers on both sides, it is a double sided/single layer. The designation for such a DVD is DVD-2, the storage capacity is 2.8 GB.
