Architectural Runway

An Architectural Runway is a work process with which functional features can be implemented in existing software at short notice. Such a runway consists of codes, components and technical infrastructure for a fast redesign of the functions.

The Architectural Runway supports the redesign of functional features through Continuous Delivery Pipeline( CDP). It provides the foundation for business initiative development and new feature implementation. Continuous evolution of the Architectural Runway is supported by enablers that highlight feature weaknesses, performance limitations, or lessons learned.
