1 to 10 V interface

Lighting control protocols for the control of lighting and lighting systems are divided into analogue and digital controls. The 1 to 10 V interface is a standardised analogue control protocol for dimmers with which these control the electronic ballasts

between 1 V and 10 V. The 1 V value corresponds to the lowest dimming value and therefore the highest brightness

, the 10 V value corresponds to the highest dimming value and the lowest brightness. The control voltage is transmitted between the control device, i.e. the dimmer, and the electronic ballast via a two-core control line. Separate lines are available for the supply voltage. The electronic ballast provides the regulated control output. The control itself can be manual, via remote control or automatic.
