LAN access profile (Bluetooth) (LAP)

Das LAN Access Profile (LAP) ist ein Bluetooth-Profile, das das TCP/ IP-Protokoll unterstützt.

Mit der LAP-Funktion können Bluetooth-Endgeräte mit vorhandenen lokalen Netzen und Unternehmensnetzen vernetzt werden. Der Zugangspunkt ( AP) kann ein Personal Computer sein, der gleichzeitig auch als Server dient und über den auch eine Einwahl zum Internet möglich ist.

Die Authentifizierung erfolgt beim LAP-Profile mit dem Point to Point Protocol ( PPP).
