LAP M (LAP-M-Protokoll)

Bei Link Access Protocol for Modems (LAP M) handelt es sich um die Anpassung des beim HDLC-Protokoll gebräuchlichen LAP B-Protokolls für die bitserielle Übertragung von Modems. LAP M ist ein Modem-Sicherungsprotokoll für synchrone Start-Stopp-Übertragung; es ist in der ITU-Empfehlung V.42 spezifiziert.
