ICE (ICE-Protokoll)

Das ICE-Protokoll ist ein Industrie-Protokoll für das Content-Syndication. Es regelt den Online-Dokumentenaustausch zwischen den Content Providern und den Inhalte-Abnehmern. Es basiert auf XML und bietet neben dem Austausch von Informationen die Möglichkeit der Integration derselben. ICE (Information and Content Exchange) benutzt Document Type Definition (DTD) und den Open Profiling Standard (OPS), das den Geschäftspartnern nur die Informationen bereitstellt, die auch für diese bestimmt sind.

Das ICE-Protokoll vereinfacht den Informationsaustausch zwischen Geschäftspartnern und unterstützt Datenpools, die alle Beteiligten zugänglich sind.
