Das Geographic Scope (GS) ist ein zwei Bit langes Datenfeld im ersten Oktett einer Cell-Broadcast-Nachricht (CB) in SMS-Systemen. Das GS gibt den Hinweis darauf aus welcher Location Area und welcher Funkzelle die Information stammt.
