health device profile (Bluetooth) (HDP)

Das Bluetooth Health Device Profile ( HDP) ist ein Bluetooth-Profile, das die Interoperabilität von verschiedenen medizinischen Geräten sicherstellt. Mit diesem Bluetooth-Profile können Daten von medizinischen Messgeräten für Blutdruck, Körpertemperatur, Gewicht, Elektrokardiogramm, Puls oder Blutzucker zu tragbaren Geräten, zu Smartphones, Tablet-PCs, Laptops oder medizinischen Monitoren übertragen werden.

Das DHP-Profile wurde von der Bluetooth Medical Device Profile Study Group (MED) als Transportprotokoll für das von IEEE 11073 standardisierte Datenaustauschprotokoll, dem Personal Health Data ( PHD), entwickelt. Die Kombination dieser standardisierten Protokolle, die von der Continua Health Alliance propagiert wird, schafft die Voraussetzungen für den Austausch von medizinischen Daten zwischen Geräten unterschiedlicher Hersteller. Für die Übertragung nutzt Bluetooth das in der Version 3.0 entwickelte Bluetooth High Speed ( BHS).

Das Health Device Profile (HDP) setzt auf dem Service Discovery Protocol ( SDP) und Multichannel Adaptation Protocol ( MCAP) auf und übernimmt das Personal Health Data (PHD) für den Datenaustausch.
